Director of Springfield Catholic School System (Full-Time)—Springfield Catholic Schools, Springfield

Springfield Catholic Schools is seeking applicants for the position of Director of Springfield Catholic Schools

Qualifications:
The Director must be a practicing Catholic, have a Master’s degree or higher in Educational Administration, hold a current Administrator’s Certificate and possess excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. He/she must be a leader committed to a team approach to school administration and have a strong record of achievement that predicts success in leading the development and growth of the system.

Responsibilities:
The Director’s role is multifaceted and encompasses educational leadership, administrative management, public relations and fosters a safe and supportive learning environment. While cultivating the Catholic Identity in all aspects of Springfield Catholic Schools, The Director also oversees and manages the budget, policies, procedures and curriculum. The Director is accountable to the Diocesan Superintendent of Catholic Schools.

The Director’s responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to the following:

  1. Collaborates with clergy and principals to help nurture and foster the schools’ faith community and Catholic Identity which reflects the fourfold mission of the Church: teaching the truth, communion in community, charity in service and Divine Worship.
  2. Leads Springfield Catholic Schools through curriculum development, evaluation, and system planning.
  3. Prepares, submits, and supervises a comprehensive annual budget for the school system and submits it to the School Board.
  4. Gives priority to the development of the total Catholic culture of the school system
  5. Supervises all business affairs for the school system in accord with School Board and Superintendent advisement.
  6. Facilitates the development of a long-range plan and establishes institutional goals and objectives to achieve the long-range plan.
  7. Coordinates and attends all meetings of the School Board and sub committees and serves as the chair for the Policy Committee, Long Range Planning Committee, and Endowment Committee.
  8. Reinforces School Board decisions to school administrators.
  9. Partners with the Priests and School Board to ensure that all the physical properties of the school system remain in good operating condition so that health and safety standards are maintained.
  10. Collaborates and directs the administrative leadership, faculty, and staff in implementing a total education program in accordance with responsible educational practices that exceed State and National standards, and that meet Diocesan guidelines.
  11. Serves as the official spokesperson for the Springfield Catholic Schools.
  12. Oversees and collaborates with the Director of Development in the promotion, marketing, and fundraising of the Springfield Catholic School system the retention and recruitment of students for the system.
  13. Supports school day activities and extra curriculum activities by attendance when possible.
  14. Performs any other duty that may be deemed necessary by the Superintendent and the School Board to further the best interests of the school system.

Principal (Full-Time)—Immaculate Conception School, Jackson, MO

Immaculate Conception School, Jackson, MO seeks a principal for the 2025-2026 school year.
This individual should possess an enthusiasm for Catholic education and the ability to foster the spiritual and intellectual formation of the students. Applicants should be an active Catholic, have a Missouri certification, hold a master’s degree in School Administration (or working towards it), administrative experience preferred, as well as Catholic school experience.
